What's new for visitors

Five new ways patrons can find what they came for and stay connected.

  • Calendar view on the Shows page — see every performance laid out on a month at a glance, click any day to see what's on. Switch between calendar and grid views with one click.
  • Careers section — open positions with a built-in apply form. Applicants attach a CV and write a short cover note; the application lands straight in the HR inbox.
  • Site-wide search — a search bar in the header that finds shows, venues, careers, and pages as you type, with a full results page if you'd rather scan.
  • Social feed on the homepage — clean "Follow Us" cards for Instagram, Facebook, and X. Set up to grow into a live aggregated post stream when you're ready.
  • Media Centre — a public gallery of photos and videos from the stages and rehearsal rooms, organised into Performances, Behind the Scenes, and Events.

Tools for the Team

Admin upgrades

The day-to-day tools staff use, given a proper polish.

  • Complimentary tickets — issue free tickets for any show, either email them to a guest or drop them straight into a NAPA member's account. Revoke or resend any time.
  • Refund coupons — managers issue refunds from any order, which generates a single-use coupon code (e.g. RF-XXXX-XXXX). The customer brings the code to the box office, staff verify ID and mark it redeemed. Issuing the refund automatically cancels the tickets and releases their seats, so the show shows the right availability immediately. Two roles: managers issue, box-office staff redeem.
  • Newsletter composer — a proper writing experience with bold, italics, headings, lists, links, and image upload directly into the email.
  • Newsletter history — every send is recorded with subject, how many people received it, who sent it, and any delivery failures.
  • Careers admin — post and close job openings, set deadlines, group by department.
  • Media Library — manage video embeds (YouTube and Vimeo) alongside photos, and tag every gallery photo into the right category.
  • Financial reports in the admin panel — revenue by show, by payment method, refund tracking, and a one-click CSV export.
  • Every show, venue, vacancy, and member page now shows when it was last updated and by whom.

Behind-the-scenes work so pages feel quick on any device or connection.

  • Images automatically come in smaller, modern formats — pages load faster on phones and slower connections.
  • Photos load only as you scroll to them, instead of all at once when the page opens.
  • Videos no longer pre-download until you press play.
  • Existing photos in the library were upgraded to the new format in one pass — nothing left to do manually.

Quietly more trustworthy

Standard protections you'd expect from a modern site, now in place.

  • A full activity log of every admin change — who edited a show, who sent a newsletter, who issued a comp ticket. Useful for accountability and for catching mistakes early.
  • Every important action is now protected against the common web tricks that cause sites to misbehave.
  • File uploads are checked properly before being accepted — no surprises from a renamed extension.
