About This Space
The Batimamselle Room is one of Stollmeyer's Castle's restored upper-floor salons — named, in the local creole, for the batimamzelle (damselfly) that flits across the Savannah at dusk. The room retains its original cedar joinery, period plasterwork ceiling, and an antique writing desk that gives it the air of a private study. Tall windows look out over the Queen's Park Savannah and the front garden. The space hosts intimate board meetings, heritage tours, private tea services, and the kind of small launches where the room is meant to make the evening feel rare.
